Let’s take our demands to Parliament. On 2 November, in London, let’s tell our MPs: we DEMAND better - general election NOW.
We demand:
- A £15 minimum wage as soon as possible
- A real pay rise for public sector workers
- New union bargaining rights for whole industries – protect the right to strike
- Ban zero hours contracts and stop fire and rehire
- Cut bills and nationalise energy retail
- Hike universal credit and pensions now
- Raise women’s incomes and stop workplace racism
And more than that: we demand a government that listens and acts to support working people. #DemandBetter
On 2 November, we want every MP to hear from workers from their constituency about the reality of the cost-of-living crisis.
Join the mass lobby of MPs in London and ask your MP to take action to protect the right to strike and get wages rising.
We will help you through the process
The TUC will help you book a meeting with your MP and make the most of the meeting. And we’ll make sure you have all the info you need.
On the same day, we will hold a rally at Central Hall Westminster from 6-8pm, where frontline workers will tell their stories and you can also hear from trade union leaders.
