Who is this interactive guide for?

This guide is for trade union reps and members who want to improve on your reading capabilities. 

Reading can also be enjoyable. It broadens our minds, increases our vocabulary and helps us to keep aware of what is happening in the world today. Reading is about more than just understanding the words - it's also about understanding other people's point of view and being able to communicate effectively.

This guide will introduce a range of reading skills. With practice, these should make you a better and more confident reader, both at work and in your personal life.

How do I complete it?

All you need is an internet-enabled mobile device (a phone or tablet) or a computer. Do as little or as much as you like each time you log on — your progress will always be saved. Next time you log on just pick up where you left off, this one will take you about 15-30 minutes to complete.
