No-deal Brexit would raise inflation and shrink the economy, says TUC

Commenting on the latest inflation figures announced today (Wednesday), which shows a small rise in CPI inflation to 2.1%, TUC General Secretary Frances O’Grady said:

“The rise in inflation is a reminder that a dramatic fall in the pound could push prices up more.

“The Prime Minister must stop threatening a catastrophic no-deal Brexit that would shrink the economy, destroy jobs and raise prices.”
