The TUC’s Young Workers Organising Weekend is back! Taking place on Saturday 4 April in Hull, we invite the best and most exciting practitioners in trade union and community organising to deliver workshops on the latest techniques, developments and best practices in the movement.
The TUC’s Yorkshire Organising Weekend is the biggest gathering in the UK dedicated to developing the organising potential of young trade unionists (35 and under)

The organising weekend is a practical, workshop-based day of training to upskill young activists and empower them to go out and start building their union.
Delegates are invited to attend the daytime training on Saturday 4 April and also stay for dinner and overnight to participate in a panel debate on young workers in the trade union movement during the Sunday session of the TUC’s Regional Conference, which takes place in parallel to the organising weekend. Further details and costings are on the downloadable form below.
Interested delegates should download an expression of interest form and seek approval from their union for attendance and costs.
The hotel is located right in the centre of Hull with the main paragon interchange for trains and buses only 10 minutes walk away.
From South or West: Take M1 then M62 then A63 follow signs for Hull City centre, at Myton Gate roundabout take A1079 onto Ferensway, pass St Stephens shopping centre, the hotel is on the left down Portland Place.
From North: Take A1 then M62 then A63 and follow signs for city centre. At Myton Gate roundabout take A1079 onto Ferensway, pass St Stephens shopping centre, the hotel is on the left down Portland Place.
From East: Take A165 to Hull onto Freetownway. At Traffic lights turn left onto Ferensway, then at the next set of traffic lights go right onto Portland Place.
