Matt Pointon is a unionlearn projects officer who supports unions to access a wide variety of learning opportunities. He has many years of experience in adult education and also delivers a number of short taster courses in workplaces.
Joanna Cain is the Director of Education at the WEA, a post she has held for five years and also Deputy CEO. Prior to this, she was the Head of Learning and Organising Services at the public service union UNISON and has worked closely with the WEA on partnership initiatives including the longstanding “Return to Learn” workplace learning project. She is an experienced educator with many years of experience in developing and delivering adult learning.
Sal Campbell is a Learning Development Tutor for Birkbeck College, University of London, where they teach academic writing and study skills. Sal believes that given the right support, enough information and a genuine interest in the subject, anyone can learn anything.
