Overview

New laws coming into force at the end of August will allow unions to use secure electronic balloting for industrial action and statutory ballots. These changes have the potential to make it easier for unions to engage members, increase participation and strengthen workplace organising.

Join us for this practical one-hour webinar to understand what the new e-balloting rights mean, how the new regulations will work, and what your union can do now to prepare.

During the webinar, we'll cover:

  • Why online balloting matters for unions and members
  • What the new regulations say
  • What e-balloting could look like in practice
  • How unions can prepare, including the importance of accurate member data and encouraging members to update their details
  • Practical ideas for supporting successful "get out the vote" campaigns

There will also be opportunities to take part in interactive activities, ask questions and hear practical examples of how unions can make the most of these new rights.
