Whether you’re new to your union or already active, this weekend will give you the tools, confidence, and connections to take your next step. Walk away with fresh ideas, new skills, and a powerful network of young workers in your corner.
Please note:
If you know someone who would be a good fit for this programme, we welcome referrals from trade union officials.

Cost/union sponsorship
Costs are involved when participating in this programme, but these should not be paid by participants. Please speak with your trade union and/or branch about support for attendance.
What if my union can’t pay?
You should have your unions permission to attend and fund your place before you apply. But we do not wish for costs to be a barrier. So, if you are concerned your union has insufficient funds, please get in touch with Rebecca (rsixsmith-hughes@tuc.org.uk).
Accommodation and meals
Hotel accommodation for a one-night stay on Saturday 28 November including breakfast is included as part of the course. Lunch, teas, coffees as refreshments will also be available across the weekend as well as dinner on Saturday evening. Travel costs, additional nights' accommodation and any other expenses are not included and must be arranged individually through the union, branch or trades council. Delegates should speak to their union, branch or trades council in the first instance to confirm they will be supported financially to attend. If travel costs will be a barrier to you attending, please get in touch with Rebecca (rsixsmith-hughes@tuc.org.uk).
