The cost of living continues to put pressure on working people, but the impact isn’t felt equally. Pay gaps and inequalities in the workplace can leave some workers facing even greater financial pressures.
Join TUC Education and the Labour Research Department (LRD) to explore the latest evidence on pay gaps, the cost of living and workplace inequality – and, crucially, what union reps can do about it.
We’ll look at the latest evidence on pay gaps and inequality, what they mean for workers, and how union reps can use data and workplace information to identify inequalities and strengthen the case for fairer pay.
The session will give reps ideas they can take back to their workplaces to help challenge pay inequality, support negotiations, and make equality a central part of the union’s approach to pay.
Find out how to use pay data and evidence to identify inequality, strengthen pay claims and support the fight for fairer pay at work.
We want everyone attending TUC events to have a safe and enjoyable experience. If you require any adjustments or assistance to participate at this event, please let us know.
