Cost of membership

Traineees and student teachers can join for free. NEU membership costs £1 for Early Career Teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers (Wales) in the first year after qualifying and there’s a discounted rate of membership following that.

  • Leadership members pay £27.70 a month (over 10 monthly payments)
  • Standard members pay £24.14 a month (over 10 monthly payments)
  • Support members pay £12.50 a month (over 10 monthly payments)

All the above rates are for full-time workers; discounted rates are available for part-time workers.
