Join the chain for Bangladesh

Issue date

One year after the collapse of the Rana Plaza factory in Bangladesh which killed nearly 1200 workers, £14.9 million in compensation is still owed to the victims of the collapse and their families.

The TUC has been campaigning with unions in Bangladesh to call on UK companies to pay up. This is a message from Nazma Akter, President of the SGSF garment workers union on why you should support the campaign.
