TUC London, East and South East (LESE) is the TUC regional council for London, the East of England and the South East, roughly the area bounded by a line drawn from Norwich, to Banbury and the Isle of Wight.

Almost two million trade union members live and work across our region. We champion the interests of working people and their families, and work to improve jobs, pay and conditions for all.

We deliver national TUC campaigns at a regional level, develop policy for our region, and support affiliated unions in their industrial campaigns. We also promote he role of trade unionism in a modern economy and a force for change in our region, and beyond.

Keep up to date with union news in our region

We send out regular Newsletters by email about campaigns, actions by unions, an industrial action update including requests for solidarity support, news about union wins, and events we are organising or that we support.

Who we are, what we do and how we do it

Trade unions nominate delegates to the Regional Council, which meets quarterly to discuss both how to achieve policy determined at the annual Trades Union Congress, and to make specific policies on regional issues.
