Wages recovery should be at the heart of government's economic strategy, says TUC

Responding to the latest data published today (Friday) by pay analysts XpertHR, which finds low pay settlements for the three months to the end of October 2014 and employers pessimistic about the coming months, TUC General Secretary Frances O’Grady said: 

“The bad news on wages just keeps on coming. The government should be putting a wages recovery at the heart of its economic strategy to make sure more businesses give Britain the pay rise that workers deserve and need.”
