Everyone deserves respect and equal treatment at work regardless of your age. But one of the most common forms of employment discrimination is age bias, and it can affect workers of all ages. 

Older workers may be denied jobs because employers think they are too old and younger workers may not have the same opportunities or paid less than their older colleagues because they are too young.

As a union rep, you can promote equality in the workplace and try to ensure that every worker receives fair treatment irrespective of their age.
