About this resource

You can help prevent and tackle sexual harassment, and change the way it's viewed and dealt with in your workplace.

Who is this interactive learning for?

This guide is for union reps. It will help you challenge attitudes to sexual harassment and give you guidance on how to deal with it in the workplace. If you have been on the receiving end of sexual harassment, this guide will help you see how your union can help you.

How will this help me?

This guide will:

  • detail who is most likely to be affected by sexual harassment
  • explain why it is a union issue
  • outline the employer's legal responsibilities on prevention
  • list practical steps that union reps can take in response to sexual harassment.
How do I complete it?

All you need is an internet-enabled mobile device (a phone or tablet) or a computer. Do as little or as much as you like each time you log on — your progress will always be saved. Next time you log on just pick up where you left off, this one will take you about 15 minutes to complete.

Will I get anything for doing this?

Upon successful completion of this module, you will receive a digital credential. Your credential will be emailed to you (from the TUC via Acclaim), so please keep a look out.

What is a digital credential?

A digital credential shows that you have completed this training. You can share your credential with your union colleagues or employer.
