TUC response to trade white paper

The TUC has made a submission to the government Department for International Trade on the trade white paper released in October.  The submission expresses concern that the white paper suggests the government might pursue a 'no deal' scenario with the EU and the paper provides no assurances that workers' rights or public services will be protected in future trade deals.  The TUC is calling for the government to prioritise getting a deal with the EU that secures rights and jobs and protects public services, rather than pursuing dodgy deals with other countries.
