South West rep awards for 2013 announced.

Issue date

After lengthy and difficult deliberations by the awards panel reps from around the region have been selected for recognition in this year's South West Union Rep Awards.

The high quality of nominations and the information given by reps going forward to the panel made it a very competitive process with the panel pleased to be given so many great examples of what union reps are achieving for their members in the South West. Marie Hughes, South West TUC Education Officer and panel member said 'What all of the nominations showed was the sheer determination and strength reps still have - to tackle inequality, to challenge bad employment practices and to protect workers.'

Congratulations once again to the winners, and to everyone who was nominated for an award.
