Living on the Edge: the rise of job insecurity in Britain 26th June 2017

The TUC conference on insecure work looked at how policymakers, unions and civil society organisations can deliver decent work for everyone. Our keynote speakers, including Matthew Taylor, Dragon’s Den session and Question Time examined the the increase in zero-hour contracts, the gig economy and insecure work ahead of the publication of Matthew Taylor's Independent Review of Employment Practices in the Modern Economy. The workshops looked at employment rights, digital organising, enforcement, and young workers.
