British workers have endured the longest pay squeeze since records began. They are now getting paid £2,500 a year less, on average, than they were in 2010.
We need a recovery that benefits the many, not just the few. From 16 February to 1 March the TUC is organising Fair Pay Fortnight – a series of events across England and Wales to make the case for fair pay.
Find an event near youFind out what is happening in your area and join the campaign for fair pay and decent jobs. Campaigners will be out and about in many towns, and we’d love your help if you can spare a few hours to spread the word about Britain’s bad jobs crisis. |

Amazon.co.uk: Work with GMB to get temp workers a decent job
Temporary workers at Amazon have to deal with short term, low paid agency work, with a punitive discipline and monitoring system that can see them lose their job with little notice. Help them and their union, GMB, to call for a decent jobs guarantee, with work and pay that give them the security they need in work. |

Care workers looking after the most vulnerable people in the UK are being illegally paid below the national minimum wage. 220,000 people are being exploited in this way. Vince Cable could instruct HMRC to name and shame some of the biggest care providers but so far he hasn’t. |
