100 years ago, on 3 May 1926, millions of workers across Britain took part in the 1926 General Strike - one of the most significant moments in the history of the labour movement.

Although it lasted just nine days, the strike left a lasting mark on the relationship between workers, employers and government, and helped shape the world of work we know today. We bring together resources marking the centenary of the strike.
