Phil Jones has been a trade union and labour movement activist for over 35 years. He has been seconded to Unite for 20+ years, first as a workplace and health & safety rep and now leads for Unite as the senior convenor at Barclays Bank.

Phil is also the Chair of Unite’s Finance and Legal Sector and is Chair of Unite’s National LGBT+ Members Committee. He sits on Unite’s Welsh Regional Committee as the representative of LGBT+ members in Wales.

As well as being active in his own union Phil also sits on the UK TUC LGBT+ Workers Committee and is a member of the Wales TUC General Council where he occupies the LGBT+ seat.
