The LESE Public Services Committee brings together trade unionists dedicated to defending and improving public services across the region. The committee advocates for high-quality, accessible services that are publicly owned, properly funded, and delivered by a valued workforce.
It provides a space for members to share experiences, campaign against cuts and privatisation, and promote policies that strengthen public provision in areas such as health, education, transport, and local government. The committee also works to ensure that the voices of public service workers are heard in decision-making processes at all levels.
All members working in or passionate about public services are encouraged to get involved and help protect the services our communities rely on.
Vice-Chair: Marian Wilson (NEU)
