Commenting on the publication today (Wednesday) of a report by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, which finds that almost 3 million working households do not meet the minimum income standard, TUC General Secretary Frances O’Grady said:

“This will come as no surprise to working people. The Prime Minister needs to tell us what her plan is to get wages rising faster.”

Commenting on the publication today (Wednesday) of the annual report on Minimum Income Standards by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, which finds that almost 3 million working households do not meet the minimum income standard, TUC General Secretary Frances O’Grady said:

“This will come as no surprise to working people. They can see in their pay checks that wages haven’t fully recovered since the financial crisis. There’s a problem here and the government needs to do something about it. The Prime Minister needs to tell us what her plan is to get wages rising faster.”
