Commenting on labour market figures today which show real wages are still lower than before the financial crisis, and flat jobs growth, TUC General Secretary Frances O’Grady said:

“Families trying to save for Christmas are still stuck with real wages that are lower than a decade ago, and rising debts.

“No more excuses: the new government must boost wages and living standards for working families.”
