UNISON has a membership of 1.3 million members, and its membership system is accessed by 12 Regional Offices, National Office, UNISON Direct and over 1,000 Branches. UNISON’s East Midlands Region covers Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, and Rutland. We currently have around 100,000 full members in over 56 branches. We are looking to appoint a team member to undertake a wide variety of clerical and administrative functions within the membership team.

The Person 
This role is a key position within the regional membership team. You will have skills and experience that include:

  • Working proactively using own initiative.
  • An extremely high standard of accuracy in recording information.
  • Good telephone manner, showing patience and understanding.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ICT packages including Microsoft Office suite.
  • An understanding of trade unions and their objectives would be an advantage.
