Save our Railways - Day of Action 2nd February

Issue date

The McNulty report was commissioned by the government to 'improve value for money to passengers and the taxpayer.' But the report's recommendations are a false economy which will seriously worsen services to passengers and significantly short change the taxpayer. See TUC Briefing - http://www.tuc.org.uk/industrial/tuc-20209-f0.cfm for more information on the threat from McNulty.

The Governments formal response to this report is expected shortly and there will be another RMT-organised day of action in support of the joint union Save our Railways campaign on Thursday 2nd February.

There is a list below of train stations (identified so far) that will be leafleted on the day. If there is any help with mobilising that you can offer, it would be greatly appreciated.
