Gavin Pearce

Gavin is one of TUC Cymru’s team of Policy and Communications Support Officers, supporting TUC Cymru’s work.

In his role, Gavin collaborates closely with the TUC Cymru Trade Union education team to deliver training and development programs for union representatives across Wales.

As TUC Cymru’s digital and print media designer, Gavin is responsible for the organization’s graphic design needs, and he also manages in-house photography and videography. His work frequently captures the essence of rallies, marches, strikes, TUC Cymru Congress, and various other events.

Gavin also plays a pivotal role as the events organizer and coordinator for TUC Cymru, overseeing key events including:

• TUC Cymru Congress
• Annual tutor briefings
• TUC Cymru staff training events

Before joining TUC Cymru, Gavin held the position of Department Manager and Graphic Designer within the Presentation and Technical Services department at Corus Strip Products UK, Port Talbot Works. He later transitioned to Virgin Media, where he became the Communications Workers Union Health & Safety Representative at the Matrix Court site.
