TUC President Sally Hunt on solidarity for Palestine

On Saturday 20 January 2018, TUC President Sally Hunt spoke at an international trade union conference on solidarity with Palestine organised by the Nobel peace prize-winning Tunisian UGTT and chaired by the leader of the Palestinian PGFTU trade union confederation Shaher Sa'ed. The conference was in response to the US President's statement on Jerusalem and included trade unionists from the Arab region, Africa, Europe and beyond.

Sally Hunt's speech condemned President Trump's intervention, but called on trade unionists to put workers' solidarity first, including justice for Palestinians and security for Israelis.
