Calling all Union Learning Reps in South Yorkshire

• Are you a ULR based in South Yorkshire?
• Would you like support in delivering learning, upskilling and reskilling opportunities for your members?
• Do you want to know what learning and courses are available in your area?
• Can you share your success stories and good practice with others, or would you like to share ideas about how to address barriers you may be facing in developing learning in your workplace?

If you have answered yes to any of these questions, contact Janet Johnson our recently appointed Skills Development Officer for South Yorkshire. Janet works in partnership with the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority and her role is an extension of Unionlearn.

Janet is happy to talk to you about learning and skills development for members in your union, branch or workplace.

Please contact her at JJohnson@tuc.org.uk or 07799 880195.

Skills and learning needs questionnaire

TUC Yorkshire & the Humber, through our skills project is working in partnership with South Yorkshire Combined Authority to improve skills and learning opportunities for those living and working in South Yorkshire. We are keen to ensure the worker's voice through trade unions is represented when considering the procurement of learning and skills provision in the area.

If you are a Union Learning Rep (ULR) or have a learning remit in your union, your input into the skills project is invaluable.

One way you can represent your members in the project is by completing our skills and learning needs questionnaire.

The questionnaire takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and the closing date is 4 March 2022. Responses received after that date will still be useful but may not feed into our initial report.
