Overview

This webinar will equip health and safety reps with the skills to protect their colleagues from climate change-related hazards.

Join our panel of experts who will raise awareness of the impacts of climate change on occupational health and safety, encourage organising around climate change, towards a just transition and introduce us to union initiatives which are making an impact.

We'll be joined by:

  • Rory O'Neill, Editor of Hazards Magazine and OSH advisor to the International Trades Union Congress who will discuss why climate change is a trade union issue and why it should become an organising priority
  • Sarah Lyons, Lead Officer for Health, Safety and Environment, NEU will introduce the Joint Union Heatwave Protocol
  • Graham Petersen who will talk through some of the impact being made by the Trade Union Clean Air Network.
