This 2 day conference is aimed at Union Learning Reps across Wales.
The conference will also include an evening meal with a guest speaker helping to celebrate Union Learning Reps and 20 years of WULF.
The role of a Union Learning Rep is becoming more important than ever before. This is an opportunity to get up to date with the ongoing changes in the role. There will be talks, presentations, workshops and networking opportunities.
Accommodation
As this is open to the whole of Wales there are a limited number of rooms available for delegates who live a significant distance from the venue or who have disability related requirements.
Your postcode will be required when your register in order for us to prioritise allocation of overnight accommodation. Should overnight accommodation be booked for you for the night of 27 November, the costs will be covered by the Wales TUC.

Costs
The Union Learning Rep Conference 2019 is free for trade unionists living or working in Wales. The Wales TUC will cover any required accommodation (within the parameters outlined above), food and non-alcoholic refreshments, we cannot cover your travel expenses, but your union may be able to help with that.

Once we have confirmed your place, if you can no longer attend, please let us know at least one weeks notice beforehand using the contact details below.
It is very important that you let us know if you can no longer attend because;

We always have a reserve list but are often unable to offer places to those reserved when we receive little notice.

The cost of the event is significant and if we receive little notice of non-attendance, we are still required to pay for vacant places. This includes venue hire, facilitators, meals and refreshments.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND THIS EVENT AND YOU DO NOT PROVIDE A WEEKS NOTICE OF NON ATTENDANCE, YOUR UNION MAY BE CHARGED £200 TO COVER THE COST OF YOUR PLACE.
