Do you want to learn how to have organising conversations that recruit others to join a union and then put this skill in to practice to support active union recruitment campaigns?

On Saturday 26 September young activists in the London, East and South East are invited to a day’s in person training that will teach you how to have successful organising conversations. 

The one-day training will equip you with the basic skills and theory, plus provide plenty of opportunity to practice through role play.

This training is in preparation for regional 'young workers patrols' - an outreach initiative where young workers support active union recruitment campaigns by visiting businesses to talk with a target group of employees about workplace rights, check conditions, and promote trade union membership. To join the Organising Conversations training, participants are asked to commit to taking part in at least one regional youth patrol in the next twelve months. 

The first patrols are likely to be Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November in Canary Wharf, London. Further dates and locations to be confirmed.

The training is open only to young workers who are members of TUC affiliated unions and based in London, the East or South East of England.
