Overview

16 November - 16 December is Disability History Month. The month marks the history of disabled people’s struggles for equality and human rights.

This month takes place during a cost-of-living emergency - millions of people up and down the country are facing spiralling living costs whilst their wages are being held down.

Join us for our event on how the crisis is impacting disabled people, including new research from the TUC on disabled people's pay, and what working people are doing to fight back.

The event will take place on Zoom.

Chair:

  • Dave Allan, Co-Chair TUC Disabled Workers Committee, Unite

Speakers:

  • Ann Galpin, Co-Chair TUC Disabled Workers Committee, NUJ

  • Colleen Johnson, TUC Disabled Workers Committee, NEU
