Accessibility for disabled marchers

We want everyone coming to have a safe and enjoyable experience

The march 

  • There will be a quiet area allocated for disabled marchers at the form up and a quiet venue rest stop during the route.
  • There will be a short march, which will form up at Whitehall Place from 11am – mid-day. View march route

The rally in Parliament Square 

  • Attendees can go straight to the rally location to start at 1pm if they prefer.
  • Level access to Parliament Square will be indicated on the plan. There will be a designated viewing area for disabled attendees.
  • There will be a small number of charging points for power chairs, subject to safe weather.
  • There will be a British Sign Language interpreter on the stage and the rally will be streamed live on TUC’s Facebook page with live captions. We also have speech to text transcript on the day. 
  • There will be water supplies for guide dogs.

  • Any requests for reasonable adjustments for the march and rally should be made to the TUC by 8 June TUCevents@tuc.org.uk
  • Unions may be able to support members with reasonable adjustments, and are responsible for members’ travel.
