Black women's experience of sexual harassment in the workplace
The TUC undertook this research in collaboration with Queen Mary University of London in order to create a space for Black women to share their experiences and inform the work we do to tackle sexual harassment in the workplace. As the voice of more than 5.5 million working people, we have an obligation to ensure that our movement is responding to the biggest challenges working people face.

We have pioneered research on the issue, and led campaigns to change the law, laying the foundations for the culture change that is needed. But like every workplace, we need to get our own house in order.

In this day and age it is unacceptable that at least 40% of women will experience workplace sexual harassment, with that number even higher for disabled women and Black and minoritised women.
