The event is free to attend and will be held at St Fagans National Museum of Wales on Tuesday 21 April 2020 starting at 9 am.
The training and development seminar will offer an opportunity to learn, network with other reps and guests including our guest speakers and WTUC staff.
Wales TUC will be launching our new toolkit on Older Workers.
We will be providing briefings and workshops on a wide range of equality related topics such as:
- Fair Work and Equality
- Mental Health
- Extremism
- Welsh Government
- LGBT+ and Social Care
- The menopause and upcoming work within the Wales TUC Equality team.
We will be collecting donations for Llamau, a Cardiff based charity who were founded 30 years ago to provide homeless teenagers with a safe place to stay. Since then, we have supported over 67,000 young people, women and their children who are either homeless or facing homelessness.
If any delegate would like to contribute, we will be accepting donations of:
- Homewares and small electrical appliances (clean and in good condition)
- Toiletries (new and unused)
- Food (in-date, good shelf life)
There will opportunities to speak with varying equality based organisations in our stalls area giving you the chance to ask questions, make contacts see what campaigns they are running.
This Training and Development Seminar will provide reps from across Wales the opportunity to update their knowledge and skills in various areas. Should you require any further information please contact Felicity Stock at fstock@tuc.org.uk
