TUC Cymru will be running a stall at Eisteddfod y Garreg Las August. 

We look forward to returning to the Eisteddfod – the largest cultural festival in Europe – so please drop by the stall if you are visiting this year.  

Activities on the stall will include:  

• True or false quiz – compete against your friend to win a bucket hat!
• Create your own protest placard and pose in front of our protest wall
• Conversation starters on how you feel about your work and workplace
• Sign up for our newsletter to win a bundle of TUC Cymru prizes!
• Stop by for a cuppa and a chat about anything related to TUC Cymru, unions and working in Wales  

The stall will also feature events, activities, performances and information tables run by some of our affiliate unions – Unite, Unison, PCS, NASUWT, MU, Writers Guild, Equity and Bectu.  

TUC Cymru is also running two events at larger venues at the Festival:  

• Join us in the Societies Tent on Tuesday 4 August for a session discussing how we tackle division and misinformation with BBC Journalist Maxine Hughes and TUC Cymru tutor Cerith Griffiths.

   

• Join us at the Welsh Government stall on Wednesday 5 August as we discuss how far the Twf Charter has come since its launch one year ago. Many workplaces across Wales have already committed to its adoption. From North to South, West to East, and even from the top of Snowdonia to the Pembrokeshire coast, the support for using Welsh in workplaces in Wales is clearly demonstrated.

So if you’re planning on being at the Eisteddfod this year, make sure to visit the TUC Cymru stall. And bring your friends, especially those who aren’t yet a member of a union.
