The recent Senedd Research update on the Shared Prosperity and Levelling Up funds, outlines the current situation and how it is likely to operate in Wales. There are collaborative meetings going on right now across all local authorities in Wales around planning, funding and to discuss collaborations.
Welsh Government are keen to ensure that trade unions and trade union learning in particular are involved in delivery plans.
A full Wales list of current ESF programmes that will be wrapping up over the next year is available, these will be replaced by SPF bids (to be delivered by local authorities).

The UK Government wants the SPF to be delivered at regional level in Wales, across the four City and Growth Deal areas they will approve investment plans from October 2022, approval is needed before any funding can be provided.
