#neverstoplearning with the Wales Union Learning Fund (WULF)

Wales TUC supports Adult Learners’ Week (ALW) 17 – 23 October 2022.

The word is out, help us share the love for lifelong learning.  Many WULF learners get the ‘learning bug’ as they continue to learn and share experiences with their friends, families and communities as they grow in confidence.

Want to find out how WULF can support you?  Read our blog: 10 ways WULF can help.

You can watch a great little film about Craig Kinsey’s learning journey with the Open University, CWU and WULF.

Try something new, search for an Adult Learners’ Week event or short course.

WULF ALW award 2022

Unite and Unison received recognition for their hard work in support of Adult Learners’ Week at a recent Senedd reception event.  Congratulations! #WULFWorks

Kevin Williams, Wales TUC Organising Development Officer said “It was a privilege to attend the Adult Learners’ Week event in support of Unison and Unite gaining awards for their contribution to Adult Learning.  The success of both unions shows how Union led learning can lift the skills levels of working people in Wales and also highlights the positive impact of unions to increasing the confidence and aspiration of working people from all walks of life.”

The Wales Union Learning Fund is a fantastic scheme available to all working adults, you can learn as a collective or on an individual basis.

Places of work across the whole of Wales, covering most industry sectors can engage with WULF by contacting lead union experts to plan, organise and deliver learning and development opportunities for all.

“It gave me the kickstart that I needed…it makes it really easy to continue with studying”  Joanne West, engineer at British Airways (BA)

WULF support and its learning opportunities help you achieve your potential by developing pathways to progress, supporting you in times of crisis, negotiating time off to learn, and by listening to your individual needs.

WULF, supported by Welsh Government and delivered by unions has an outstanding reputation and a long history (over 20 years) of aiding personal growth & improving wellbeing.  WULF motivates, inspires and develops learners into leaders.  It fills skills gaps, and delivers life changing, career and confidence boosting opportunities.
