About Wales TUC Congress

The Wales TUC Congress brings together elected representatives of Wales’s 400,000 trade union members in order to debate the opportunities and challenges which lie ahead and set the movement’s priorities for Wales.

The agenda for 2021's Special Congress reflects the current extraordinary circumstances. We will debate how we can strengthen our public services and kickstart a green and just economic recovery after the huge challenges of the last year. We will discuss how we can continue to best support our members through these difficult times and how we can campaign together to secure progress on Wales’s ambitious Fair Work agenda.

In addition to the substantive debates, Congress will hear from:

  • First Minister Mark Drakeford
  • TUC General Secretary Frances O'Grady
