Statement on the election of a new Welsh Government – TUC Cymru General Council

TUC Cymru looks forward to working constructively with the next Welsh Government and the Senedd to embed Fair Work principles throughout the country and to build on the strong partnership arrangements we have helped establish.

We will continue to ensure that the voice of working people is clearly represented within government. Our campaign for a United Cymru remains a priority, and we are committed to listening to and engaging with workers across the nation to help build a better future. 

People deserve a government that delivers for them, and we are ready to work constructively with the incoming administration to achieve this.

TUC Cymru Congress will take place in Llandudno from 19–21 May at Venue Cymru, where unions will set out their priorities for the next two years.
