TUC Leading Change Programme 2024/25

TUC affiliates are invited to nominate appropriate officers to participate in the 2024/25 TUC Leading Change Programme.

The TUC is opening nominations from affiliates for the 2024/25 TUC Leading Change Programme.

The TUC launched Leading Change, a training and development programme for senior trade union officers in leadership positions in 2004. Since its launch over 300 senior union officers have completed the programme. The TUC is confident that Leading Change remains the most comprehensive package of training, discussion and support for officers working in senior roles within the movement.

The 2024/25 programme which will be delivered across five modules delivered between September 2024 and Late Spring/Early Summer 2025 will draw support from TUC policy departments, academics and policy experts from within and outside the movement.

Subjects will include union membership and revitalisation strategies, using digital for organising and campaigning, political campaigning and achieving legislative change and equality and governance in trade unions.  The programme will also include an overseas study visit.

Module dates for the 2024/25 programme are.

  • Module 1 – September 26 & 27 2024 at Warwick University
  • Module 2 – November 14 & 15 2024 at the TUC, Congress House, London
