This month serves as a chance to advocate for the key issues that matter most to young workers, showcase their organising efforts, and illustrate the contributions young members make to the trade union movement.

TUC Cymru: Tackling the far-right training session for young members
Saturday 9 November | Cardiff | 10.00 - 15.00
Develop skills to tackle far right narratives, build inclusive workplaces and understand strategies used by far-right groups.
This training session is specifically designed for young trade unionists (under 35s) who want to learn how to effectively tackle far-right ideologies in their workplaces and communities.
The training will take place on 9 November, 10am - 3pm at 1 Cathedral Road, Cardiff. Lunch is included.
TUC Midlands: Derby Young Workers Social
Tuesday 19 November | Derby | 18.00
Calling all young workers in Derby! Young trade unionists involved in the Derby Area Trades Council have organised a social event for young workers in and around Derby.
Speakers include Roger McKenzie, former Assistant General Secretary Unison.

TUC LESE Young Workers Network: Anti-far right political education
Saturday 23 November | London | 10.00 - 17.00
Join this training session to learn more about the mainstreaming and the internationalisation of the far right, who is providing support to the far right and how the far right use digital propaganda.
The training will take place on 23 November, 10am – 5pm, Congress House, 28 Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3LS
There are up to 15 spaces on the course so please register in advance using this form.

Please note: This training is open only to young members of TUC affiliated trade unions in the London, East and South East region.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Young Workers Month: Newid! session with TUC Cymru & TUC South West
Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 November | Cardiff / Bristol | 8.00 - 17.00
Join our 2-day weekend event to speak to workers in hospitality and retail about their rights at work and why they should join a union.
The Newid! event (also known as a patrol) will take place across Cardiff and Bristol. The weekend will include networking training and socials. Accommodation, food & travel are included.

TUC Midlands: Nottingham Young Workers Social

Calling all young workers! Join likeminded union members from across the region to discuss the issues that are affecting you at work and what we can do together to make things better through the new TUC Midlands Young Workers Network.
Speakers will include prominent national union figures sharing organising ideas and strategies focussed on young workers.
