This holiday period, spare a thought for the thousands of hospitality workers who will work Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Years Day. While many people will spend this time with family and friends, TGI Friday's workers will be serving others.
TGI Friday's workers

Big corporations like TGI Friday's stay open at Christmas because they rake in huge profits. But these aren't shared with hard working staff. An employee working Christmas Eve gets exactly the same pay as they would any other day of the year.

TGI Friday's workers learned an important lesson this year: When we stand together in our trade union, we can make changes in our workplace and in our communities.

So this Christmas, TGI Friday's workers are demanding more.

TGI Friday's workers want double pay if they have to work Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Years Day.

Can you sign the petition calling on TGI Friday's to fairly compensate workers for working during the holiday period?

Two years ago staff at TGI Friday’s restaurants across the U.K. were forced into signing contracts that took away their right to be paid time-and-a-half for working over the Christmas and New Year period. They want this back!

This would be a small extra cost for TGI Friday's who make huge profits but make a massive difference for the workers who'll spend Christmas away from their families.
