Wales TUC are launching a survey for people who work and look after others

Do you look after someone else alongside your paid employment? Do you help an elderly neighbour to do their shopping? Do you accompany a relative to hospital appointments? Or maybe you live with someone who needs help to get washed and dressed in the
morning.

We recognise how difficult that can be. Many employers don't, and this isn't helpful when you're juggling work and looking after someone.

We are working with Carers Wales on a survey to collect data on best and worst practice. This data will help us gather evidence, speak to Government about what needs to change and work directly with employers to make things better for those who look after others.

The survey is open to everyone. You don't have to be a union member and we welcome diverse experiences. It takes about 6 minutes to complete. We will keep your personal data completely confidential, but we may use the broad trends gathered in this survey to influence and create guidance for workplaces.

The survey is available in English and in Welsh.
