For more than 150 years, union members have been fighting for fairness at work. For decent holidays, sick pay, safe workplaces, equal pay and for protection from discrimination. With their unions backing them, there's been incredible progress. But there's so much more to fight for.

This week is HeartUnions week, where we celebrate our achievements and recognise that working people need unions more than ever. Here's just a couple of the campaigns happening and they all need your support.

Ban zero-hours contracts - From the TUC

Every worker should have the right to a contract that guarantees the hours they work and the conditions they need for a decent working life.

Demand fair maternity pay for women pilots - From BALPA

Women pilots on maternity leave can lose up to 90% of their earnings. They're demanding more.

Champion fair pay for civil servants - From the FDA

All over the country, workers’ pay is struggling to keep up with the cost of living. While a small percentage get richer and richer, everyone else is left behind.

Today, it's our hard-working civil servants who are demanding fair pay.

Ban zero-hours contracts Too many workers are being denied job security, sick pay and holiday pay - and insecure work is out of control.
