Let's win great jobs for everyone
The world of work is changing. We have record numbers in work, but more than one in ten workers are in insecure jobs, where their basic rights are denied or ignored. We need no more and no less than great jobs for everyone.
Charter to make every job a great job
The Great Jobs Agenda is a charter for everyone. Use it to see whether you're in a great job, that unions can use to negotiate with employers to improve things, employers can use to check how they're doing, and we all can use to campaign for government action.
Securing great jobs means cracking down on insecure work
Getting great jobs for everyone is a TUC priority. It’s time to end insecure work at the bottom of the labour market, ban zero-hours contracts, stop bogus self-employment and protect agency workers and temps properly.
Better jobs for mums and dads
Too many workplaces still expect parents to forget about their kids as soon as they walk in the door.
Public services to be proud of
After a decade of austerity and years of privatisation and outsourcing, the public services we rely on are struggling, with too many public sector workers underpaid and overworked.
