Women in Leadership course 2018
To celebrate our 150 years since the first Trades Union Congress, the TUC Midlands ran a Women in Leadership course earlier this year for up and coming women trade unionists keen to develop their leadership skills and help our movement secure more and better rights and equality for women and the workforce.
From public speaking and leadership styles, to communication skills development and women's rights, this course involved five days of interactive learning. The group of 20 women also had the opportunity to meet and network with influential women trade union leaders and decision-makers, as well as get to know like-minded women from different unions.
The course was tremendously well received and we look forward to running another course in future years.
