The NASUWT is the largest teachers’ union in Wales, with a strong tradition of outstanding representation, effective organising and campaigning. As a Policy and Casework Official you will influence the development of Education in Wales by applying your knowledge of the sector to draft and develop policy briefings and consultation responses whilst representing the NASUWT on a range of consultation and negotiating bodies. As an experienced caseworker you will represent individual members in all levels of formal hearing with their employer up to and including Employment Tribunals.
You must be a fluent Welsh speaker and combine excellent communicating and influencing skills with a developed sense of political acumen, a track record of individual casework experience and good employment law knowledge.
