About this Role

The role offers the post holder a significant opportunity to become involved in and contribute towards TUC policy and campaigns work. Tasks are wide ranging and incorporate support for policy and research and campaign projects. Communication and campaign skills are key as is experience of supporting policy development. In addition, the successful candidates will also need to demonstrate experience and skills in the following:

  • supporting policy development, research and data analysis
  • supporting campaign activities
  • organising meetings, seminars, conferences or similar events
  • project management
  • sound time management skills including ability to prioritisation and organise
  • good ICT skills including databases, spreadsheets, social media and internet use
  • a flexible approach to work
