Job Summary

Are you an experienced Customer Service advisor with an experience of outbound calling looking for a new challenge? Would you be interested in supporting NAHT recruiting members who are senior leaders in education.

Based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex you will be responsible for recruiting members at events and calling prospective members to encourage them into membership.

This is a real hands on role where you will be required to attend events to support our recruitment and retention activity.

The focus of the role will provide feedback to the Head of New Members to help inform improvements in our Membership products and process. You will take ownership for recording the activity as well as measuring and reporting the success of outbound calls.

Person Specification

We are looking for a proactive enthusiastic individual who has excellent customer sales experience with the ability to sell both face to face and by telephone.

You will have demonstrable track record of working in a recruitment or business development role in relation to selling a product or service (in our case membership).

An understanding of sales techniques with the ability to influence decision and build a strong rapport with our members are essential for this role.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple workload and meet deadlines as well as strong planning and organising skills are essential attributes for the role.

The postholder will be required to work outside of normal working hours if necessary, with the ability to travel including overnight stay.
